The Online Classroom is designed to help educators use photographs, documents, sound recordings and film footage from the State Library and Archives of Florida.

The Online Classroom also showcases collaborative projects between the State Library and Archives of Florida and Florida schools. These projects help students make a personal connection to the primary source documents that tell the stories of their communities.

Teaching with Primary Sources Teachers Network

A registration-based networking site for teachers to use and share ideas about the Teaching with Primary Sources intiative at the Library of Congress. With a free membership, teachers can share lessons, ideas, interact with one another, and find useful materials and resources for the classroom.

California History-Social Science Project

The California History-Social Science Project is dedicated to providing the highest quality history instruction, with a special focus on meeting the needs of English learners, native speakers with low literacy, and students from economically disadvantaged communities.   

Their mission further states that they "have re-committed ourselves to the support of our teachers’ efforts to: 1) have honest and difficult conversations with students about the long and complicated history of racial injustice in this country, and 2) develop students’ capacity to address injustice and improve civil society for the future."

Library of Congress Student Discovery Sets

The new Library of Congress Student Discovery Sets bring together historical artifacts and one-of-a-kind documents on a wide range of topics, from history to science to literature. Interactive tools let students zoom in, draw to highlight details, and conduct open-ended primary source analysis. Full teaching resources are available for each set.
