Join us to learn how the Read.Inquire.Write.curriculum structures and supports students' full participation through a set of disciplinary literacy tools. This webinar will highlight the “Weigh the Evidence” tool, in particular, which supports thinking across sources and developing plausible claims. Read.Inquire.Write. is a free, inquiry-based social studies curriculum that has been developed, tested, and refined in partnership with students and teachers. Read.Inquire.Write. offers investigations of social and historical issues for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades (including world geography, world history, and US history) and extensive supports for bilingual and multilingual students.
