How can we commemorate America’s 250th in ways that are meaningful, inclusive, and engaging for students? Join NCHE and the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC) to discuss just that! Participants will gain access to lesson plans and digital tools that foster critical inquiry and civic engagement. Learn how to create spaces where students can question, analyze, and connect historical events to the challenges and opportunities of today.
Maria Reyes Pacheco is the Research & Operations Assistant at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress. She assists with research projects, event programming, as well as social media and web management. Prior to this role, Maria focused on immigration advocacy and community-engaged research during her time as an undergraduate student at Haverford College. Maria completed her B.A. degree in Sociology with a Concentration in Latin American and Latino Studies in 2024. Maria is also a past Presidential Fellow and Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow.
